The Red Deer Curling Junior Program offers an opportunity for kids to be introduced to the game of curling in a fun and supportive environment at the grassroots level.
Experience is not required. Program runs from October to March. Registration occurs throughout the year and fees will be pro-rated accordingly.
The program is divided into two groups based on age.
Lite Rocks - Age 8 to 11 Mondays 5:00pm - 6:00pm $165/ player
Big Rocks - Age 12 to 18 Mondays 5:00pm - 6:00pm $200/player
Each team is assigned a volunteer/coach to provide guidance/instruction each session. Session begins with instruction followed by game play.
Equipment is provided by the Junior Curling Program; each participant will be given shoes and a broom for use during the season. Helmets are not provided but recommended.
